The red sea is among the best destinations in the world to scuba dive. You can either dive in the city of Eilat in Israel or Dahab in Egypt. I did 2 dives in Eilat with the diving center deepsiam. Two cylinders for certified divers cost 190 shekels (about 38 EUR).
We did a shore dive and after equipping ourselves we entered the water walking with much sacrifice, because of the big amount of stones.
The first dive we did not saw that many maritime life, just a few corals and fishes wondering around.
We headed back to the diving center in 40 minutes to change our cylinders and changed our guide.
We saw a small wreck and big school of fishes
We were surprised by a clown fish couple protecting their eggs.
We also saw a fish trying to camouflage itself next to a rock.
We got to our 18 meters limit according to our certification of open water.
I finished the air before we got to the dive center, so I went back over the surface.
In the shallow waters it was possible to see bathers swimming and observing the sea life. I did the two dives with Pedro, a Brazilian friend who accompanied me for about a month on my trip.
In the end, I took a chilled shower to relax and I got ready.
