The second day of the Bahariya Oasis tour in Egypt included a visit to the Black Desert, Crystal Mountain and White Desert respectively. We woke up early, ate breakfast, and dismounted our camp.
It was a cold night but the sunrise was great. The visit to the two temples was included in the package I booked with Mostafa guide, a nice guy, who has super fair prices and organizes all your logistics in Egypt. The black desert is basically a place replete with charcoal stones and has sand dunes and black stones.
After this part we visited Crystal Mountain which is a rock complex filled with crystal style stones.
Our driver had a break to pray because this area is filled with positive energy.
The third stop of the day was the white desert, which consists of limestone rocks. In this desert there are some sculptures like the rabbit, chicken, mushroom, among others. Natural sculptures and very interesting.
I drove the 4×4 in the white desert, what a great experience!
As it was still early, around two in the afternoon, we went to see another place of thermal waters, but as it was absolutely hot we returned to the place of hot springs that we were the day before.
To close the two days at the Bahariya Oasis, we went to eat typical food. A mixture of rice, mince beef, pasta, corn, tomato and other spices. Such a delicious meal!
