Named the best hostel in Bosnia in 2013 by hostelworld.com, and holder of several hosting prizes, my stay there was incredible. The first review of a hostel I do on the website, but because I really felt very good in this place.
Mostar was not on my travel plans, but since the logistics from Sarajevo in Bosnia to Kotor in Montenegro was complicated, I decided to put an intermediate place on the route and included Mostar in Bosnia because I liked the photos on the internet.
Booked through hostelworld and upon arriving a reception quite unusual and original. After we took off our shoes, instead of asking for passports, we received iced tea and a piece of cake.
After that, we received colored pens and a paper to write our name and draw what you wanted, because this paper would be glued to the bed.
A very detailed explanation of the city with a map and only after that all the request for passports. The atmosphere was extremely pleasant and the relaxing music that made even the cat stretch in very funny ways.
The decoration is very different, full of banners, sofas and colorful and comfortable chairs. I even found a Brazilian flag! =)
There was also a book about people who jumped off the bridge, the most important tourist spot in the city.
At night I still received a pot of popcorn. I was impressed by the service and all the attention Majdas received! Many thanks for the hospitality!
