After visiting the level 124 from the tallest building in the world I decided to ski in the world’s most exotic indoor ski resort. I booked in the website in advance because I had only 33 hours in Dubai. Since I had never did ski before I scheduled a discovery ski class, one hour to learn the basics for 150 AED, around 40 USD. After going trough the reception I got a card and bought a glove in the shop for 25 AED. I recommend to bring or buy your own glove since they do not supply with the equipment. After that I went to the place where they give your boots, pants and coat. After dressed you can get your ski.
With all the equipment it’s time to wait for your instructor. If you have experience you can go straight to the ski slope. When the group was formed we went to the classes area. We had a few tests in a small snow ramp and learned how to break.
Than we went to a bigger ramp to enhance our new skills. I was having so much fun that suddenly one hour was gone and the class was ending.
After leaving this area, you can drop all your equipment in big containers in the main area. They also supply lockers and the key is the magnetic card you receive in the entrance. If you go to Dubai don’t lose the chance to ski or snowboard in this place!
