The Taj Mahal definitely deserves to be in the list of the 7 new wonders of the world. It is not possible to describe the feeling of being there. It is also the most expensive entrance fee for a touristic attraction in whole India, 750 INR or 11.25 USD. There are two main entries, west gate or east gate. I got the ticket 1km away from the east gate where they have a free transport to the entry for those who acquired the foreign ticket.
The ticket for Indians cost only 20 INR. I went with a Japanese I met in the train. In the entrance there is a control and a 150 meters walk to reach the main entrance of the temple.
After this gate you can already see the beauty of Taj Mahal.
When I visited it was high season and the place was packed by tourists.
We first entered in the main room where you can see the tub of the king and the queen.
On both sides of Taj Mahal there are 2 mosques constructed in a simetric way.
From inside you can admire Taj Mahal.
I stayed from 5pm till 7pm, the closure time.
