I was only planning to take a few pictures and write an article about Oktoberfest, but I end up having 10 liters of beer that day. With an Argentinian friend, Geraldine we first checked Löwenbräu tent at 4PM. The climate was contagious with people dressed traditionally and drinking heavily, it was already possible to see people standing in the chairs and strangers interacting as if they were old friends.

We could not get a seat so the waitress made an exception and sold us a beer, the one-liter Maß for 10 euros. After this first pint, we went to the Winzerer Fändl brewery tent where live music was playing on the tables.
The headed to the next tent, Paulaner, that was completely crowded.
We then decided to stay at the Paulaner’s Biergarten. The biergartens are in front of the tents, outdoors and in these places it is easier to find a place to sit. We got a table and ordered our second pint. Soon after we made friends with a Finnish guy at the same table, Marcus. I had gone with not a lot of money and he even paid a portion of my third beer.
I was already a bit drunk and 3 guys left their beers in the table and went to the toilet, so I drunk those.
Things went very crazy and I do not remember much, just have memories from the videos I did with my Go Pro Hero. I walked around the Oktoberfest alone for about three hours trying to find my cousin, Quirin, and taking lots of pictures and making funny videos with strangers. The photos were all shaky, of course …
By 10pM I found him in the Paulaner tent. He and his friends had a reservation, so they were at the table. I had a glued tooth (because of an incident in disco in Rio – felt drunk) that startet to get loose and I do not remember if I swallowed or threw it in some corner. Not satisfied by loosing my teeth I also decided to put my cell phone inside a glass full of beer, which only came back to work the following week after spending 80 euros in technical assistance.
After this we were expelled from the tent at 10:30 pm and we again visited the Winzerer Fändl brewery tent. I had no teeth the whole weekend and to fix it cost me 140 euros.
Anyway the videos and photos I recorded were extremely funny. For those who were just going to take photos, the first Oktoberfest was a crazy day!
